I have sciatica also, I understand the pain and not getting comfortable etc. It is difficult to get rid of the pain and sleeping is just not easy when you are dealing with pain. My solution, Ambien - it is prescribed by your doctor and I have never had any side effects and works wonders. Just a thought.

I have a recipe for Tang, instant lemonade and and instant iced tea. I didn't know it was called Friendship Tea. I usually use it around the Christmas time. But I have to say that there is a tea that I absolutely love called "Good Earth". It's a spicy, orangy kind of tea that is almost addicting to me. There is a caffeinated and a decaffeinated. I just buy it in the grocery stores.

I have a long history of not sleeping. A lot of the time I lie in bed thinking that "any minute now I could fall asleep". I really try not to look at the clock. The alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. and I have to be at work at 7:30....and looking at the clock just adds stress.

When I quit my job I told DH from now on I will eat when I'm hungry, no set meal times for me, and I will go to bed when I'm sleepy, no matter if it is 3 pm or 3 am. I hated schedules when I had to have them and I believe alarm clocks are the root of all that's wrong with the world.

Lucky girl! DH has always told me not to wake him up unless I was ready to go to the hospital!
I don't even wake him up if I have a nightmare
    Hey...you looking for a trade?
But then you'd be awake and I'd be sleeping. Ok, you talked me into it ;)

How odd...I was under the impression that it was childrens Tylenol, Motrin Zyrtec and Benedryl that was recalled. Hmmm...did you ask the folks at the pharmacy if they had the generic for tylenol, acetaminophen? It was the manufacturer of the Tylenol/Motrin brand that had the recall McNeil Labs, so perhaps the generic is available. Then if you took the Benedryl, one would think it would be the same as Tylenol PM. Ask your pharmacist. They are a wealth of helpful info.

Crafty bear, Well she wasn't very helpful was she? :-(
When I ask the people at the pharmacy in my local CVS for something, they usually come around from the back and take me right to it. I would try another pharmacy. Good luck, it is no fun being in pain.

Usually once you find the store brand "Aspirin free pain reliever" (acetaminophen) the label usually says "Compare to Tylenol" somewhere on the bottle.

I know they have the generics at WalMart for sure, and K-Mart also.
