That I was ALWAYS there for them no matter when and for what...and that I was happy and proud to be their mom.

I hope they remember that if they fight over stuff that we leave behind, that I said I would haunt them for the rest of their lives and make them miserable! If they can't agree who get's stuff, then neither of them does. It is to be sold and the proceeds divided equally.

Otherwise, I hope they will remember that I taught them family values, Christian principles, and to be good people.
Also, that love is the greatest gift of all.

They already love the fact that I am crazy about them and with them. That I don't mind going to see Harry Potter at midnight even if I had to go to work the next day... How I can blast their music in my car even when they are not there and I like the bands they like, but I am not their friend. I am a parent and they know it and like it that way.

I want them to remember that I loved them a ton; and that I tried to wring as much life out of every minute as I could.

Yes, of course I want them to remember that I love them no matter what, but I also want them to remember the faith base that I tried so hard to give them. I also want them to remember that showing their love God and each other is important.

My kids have always said that I was always there for them. Every school event and girl scouts and boy scouts. I'm still here for them now.

That I always got them off for School every morning and was there for them everyday when they returned. We always had dinner at the table at night & that is where we always talked about our day. Also that we did not tolerate anything but honesty & we were always there when they needed us. Of course that they were loved a great deal.

I hope they remember how much I loved them, how often I told them so, and how often I hugged them.
I grew up never hearing it or being hugged by anyone (long story), but I promised myself I'd never raise my kids that way.
