thanks for the laughs ladies. I've had an education reading through all these responses. I just hope I can put some of these to use, but when I'm in in front of real doozy of a bragger, I have trouble holding my tongue. So i say whatever is at the end of my tongue and that usually isn't the best!
I'm trying to teach myself to say pumpernickel and pumpkins. I get there sometimes, not always.

I heard that dental hygenists say, "there"...

I read this whole thread and there are some really funny ones in here. Plus I have some new great words!!!

I am less and less worried about what people think of me, so I have my favorite unprintable words...

I have relied on this statement to take the place of a needed cuss word:
"I hate I gave up cussing." If it's almost mandatory to cuss, I say, "I REALLY HATE I gave up cussing!"

Learned to use this when I was around high school students. It worked for me and still does!

I just wish them luck in what ever it is. For example - Other driver does a stupid, I think "I hope you make it home safe. Some one. some where, must love you today, just not me."

learned it from a nephew--a line from the music man: "stinkin' lincoln automation!"

or from grandma--"oh, my stars and garters..."

I have a friend who says, he's full of masculine bovine excrement!

I've always been partial to a line from of movie, the name of which escapes me, "Well .. sugar honey iced tea".
