I am Gramma T and my husband is PopPop. The other grandparents are Grandma Susie and Grandpa. Heaven forbid if I call my husband grandpa and not PopPop!

I started out as Grandma. DS didn't want me to be called that bc the other Grandmother was Grandma. He wanted Granny. I didn't like Granny so I suggested Grammy. When Olivia was 18 mo old she decided she was calling me Mimi. So I am lovingly called Mimi and love it.

I've never liked Grandma or any version thereof...so like my mom, I'm Grandmother. She was called GiGi by my grandchildren.

Our grandkids call us grandma and grandpa. They add the first names sometimes so others know which grandparent they are talking about.

I prefer letting the grandchildren find their own way in what they call their grandparents. More special that way.

Noni...sometimes (depending on which GK it its) it can be changed to "Noni-nater"...Nana was my Mom, Grandma was my GM and Granny for my kids' GM. My hubby's Mom was "Weebie"...
