I am called Nana by gd#1 and gd#2 is only 3 months so I don't know what I will be called by her. It's their choice. I did have a great nefew call me granny nanny once, but I set his straight on that one. (Had something to do with being called Nanny Goat as a child) When we will little we called my dads parents by their last name gm (last name) and my mom's parents by their first names gm Jeannie

Congrats, Cajunquilter2! Have lots of fun

My aunt became a grandmother in her 40's, and said she couldn't bare Nana, Grandma, or any other grandmother-sounding names. She has her grandchildren call her "Ma'am."

My granddaughter was still at the stage of calling everyone "dada". I told her mom I wanted to be called by my first name (she wouldn't have that!) Nana, or Grandma. I have been called Nana ever since. My children and grandchildren call my mom, grandma, called my dad, gramdpa. I called my grandparents, Mawmaw and Pawpaw, (mother's side) and Papa and Logie (dad's side).

I am Granna and DH is Dad-Dad. The grandchildren called their great-grandmother Graggie. Somehow it was a combination of Grannie and Maggie.
