Sure, my husband of 39 years has habits that annoy me, to say nothing of what I guess annoys him about me. But I always remind myself that I am lucky to have him. I was married for 9 years with 2 young children when my first husband died and I know what it is to be lonely. So I give thanks to hear him breathing beside me in bed at night - though the snoring does make this difficult at times! My widowed friends agree with me and when anyone complains, they gently remind them that they are lucky to still have their husbands.

What a great topic, gave me a few laughs and thankful for the guy I have. However, he's not perfect. He usually gets home from work before me, when I get off work, I'll call him to see if we need anything and ask him what he's doing and he always tells me he's building a skyscraper and then he has me guessing what he's doing. Drives me nuts. If I don't call, then he worries, since I have a 30 mile commute.

All of the above and then some, I hate the way he chews, we have two empty bedrooms and then ours and he hogs them all, his clothes are all over the place including these rooms and the bathrooms. I hate the way he drives his eyes are everywhere except in front, (he use to be a cop). He will finish something in the frig or freezer or one of the cabinets and leave the empty carton right back where he found it and then say he didn't do it, now how could that be we are the only two that lives in the house, he never did these things an its driving ME nuts.

I remember something that I read when I was younger..Can not remember where..but it went something like this.." one of the secrets to a happy marriage is when ever your spouse does something that is annoying say to yourself " I knew he/she was like this before we got married" regardless if its true or not..I do that when ever I start getting annoyed :P ..My hubby though is a wonderful, loving man..A very patient one too..Except when driving of course

My pet grip is when I am quilting he always brings in the mail and puts it in front of me. Yes, even if its junk mail. Then he goes to his shop to "play".
