so what does your spouse or significant other do that drives you crazy?
Mine (DH) has the awful habit of using the suction method to get soup or other liquid food from the spoon into his mouth. Then, because he is "inhaling" it, he starts choking (has slight swallowing problems anyway.) I have tried to demonstrate that you can use the spoon to actually PLACE the food within your mouth, but so far (30 years) it hasn't worked. He does tone it down a bit when we have company, though.

My pet peeve that DH does is eating loud. Sometimes he smacks his lips and swallows loud and it drives me nuts. But I love him anyway :)

mine just started to chew with his mouth open with anything that is crunchy. Chips, pop corn etc. I cannot stand it and he never did this 2 years ago.

Chews on his fingers! We go somewhere and he is over there chewing on his fingers, not his nails, all out gnawing at his fingers. Makes me sick, then knowing he had slobbered all over his hand, he goes and shakes people hand. Makes me cringe.

Mine looks at me like I am stupid when I try to tell him to do something a certain way. Then he wonders why I just walk away and won't help him anymore. Then comes to find me because his idea didn't work right. I could smack him upside his head when he does that.

I have a list! LOL He scrapes food from the fork with is teeth - makes my teeth itch like scratching fingernails on a blackboard. He doesn't close anything, I always know where he's been. And he throws his dirty underwear down the stairs and then steps over them when he comes down. LOL Hey, there are worse habits and he's an honest hard working man with morals! Can't beat that.

Mine goes through a big long explanation which I perfectly understand and then says "what I am trying to tell you" and gives the Readers' Digest version of same story....aaaggghhhh!!! Then gets upset when I interupt and tell him, I understood every word you said the first time!! Other than that he is perfect!!

Mine can't seem to figure out the trash is where used paper towels go, not on the counter or island or stove.

And once a month (if u know what I mean) just his breathing drives me up the great wall of china!! Like NOW! LOL. Its true, I can't help it. :D
