    Moods by Neil Diamond
Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens

Both were albums. I think I bought them at the same time.

I had some 45s, even a few 78s, but they were bought for me by others.

Oh but do I ever, dancing to it at the catholic school dances in town. It was the last dance the played . The school was Jesuit so the brothers would break you up if you danced too close, "Room for the Holy Spirit, my children" is what they said.

Can you imagine how far we've come, better or worse? LOL

My dad had a business friend who worked for RCA so I got all the 45's and albums they were pitching early. Some of it was way weird. One country song was went "the closer to the bone, the sweeter is the meat...the very last slice of a country ham is the best that you can eat" Can you imagine what an innocent 13 year old thought about that? LOL

Wasn't it Bobby Darin? Or did he do blue on blue?

    the were 45's
"the good the bad and the ugly" theme by "Ennio Morricone"

up up and away is my beautiful ballon by "the 5th dimension"

and tommy roe's "oh sweet pea"

my little 45 record player was my most prized possession in the 60s.

lol that was so easy! believe it or not, a local hardware store used to sell 45's in a mixed package, the 45's all had small holes in them..like they maybe had been in a jukebox.

i have a 45 jukebox, and about 1000 records. it had been in a bar, mostly motown.
