I love going to Shipshewana, Indiana (Quilt Shops, Antique Shops, (Flea Markets on Tuesday and Wednesday), amish restaurants and more

Metamora, IN (has a strawberry festival I want to go sometime and in the fall they have a big craft festival)

Covered Bridge festival (around Rockville, Mansfield, IN) lots of crafts, flea markets, antiques during the festival

Huntington, IN (in Sept. they have a nice craft show, pioneer festival (they cook on old pots, teepees, etc.)

Indiana, USA What fun places do you like to visit!

Atlanta, IN has a Earth day festival that is really fun.
Peru, IN has it's amateur circus in the summer and there is a fair at the same time.

Wakarusa ... all because I have friends who live/lived there!

    And The Hunters Inn, nearby!
    (does it still exist?)

And sadly I've never yet been to Shipshe ... although I know I would LOVE it! :)

One time I got to go to French Lick, Indiana and loved staying at the Sheraton there. Larry Byrd is from there, about 50 miles from Louisville,KY.

The Chubby Trout in Elkhart is a great restaurant. We went 2 out of 3 nights that we were there getting our camper worked on in Topeka. And we loved Shipshe!

If you get a chance you should really see the circus. They have the flying trapeze, high wire and lots of other things. The most amazing part is that it is all kids! 20 and under I believe. We try to go every year and it is always incredible.
