We had some friends from out of town over for the weekend and had a really good time. It was a great weekend.

Our daughter working on her first a quilt and saying she sees how you can really get hooked on quilting. Her quilt is queen size and she will tie it.

EVERY morning I wake up I feel blessed. God has given me another day to enjoy the bounties He puts around me every day.

A loving family, supporting friends, a friendly neighborhood to live in, & His beautiful world that still can reveal it's positive side w/the beautiful people who live in it. Like the people on this QB. :thumbup: :thumbup:

What made me happy today. Let me think,I am done canning for a bit,everything turned out delicious and my kitchen is once again,ball and kerr free. Now to start sewing again. Yes I am happy

What a wonderful life! Went to the Chautauqua Institute with my mom on Saturday, absolutely amazing, many laughts, ideas and memories with mom. Saw an old friend that I haven't seen in a couple of years at the show, DH spent the day with my brother, helping to put in a Pergo floor, met on the porch for coffee in the evening, sharing our day! Grandbabies and their sense of adventure. DGS (6years old), casually put a cricket in my middle sons ear (28yrs. old), finally got it out, lots of memories this weekend! Thanks for the topic.

Woke up to the sound of rain (love it), took DD to school and had a lovely conversation on the way, going to watch a TV show I DVR'ed last night THEN I plan on starting to pack my quilt projects for my Mom/Sister Retreat on the Mississippi River next weekend....can't wait :)
