I found my small ruler that I have been looking for all week! AND I finished my king-sized quilt top!

My son moved my ruler shelf to my new sewing room. And I have a batch of chocolate chip cookies and brownies for my fantastic husband, made and potatoe soup cooking. Iam having a wonderful day. Oh yeah and my last load of laundry is in the dryer.

I woke to a big charlie horse in my left calf at 5:00 a.m.! Nope, that didn't make me happy as I jumped out of bed in pain, but I kept on walking down the hallway to my sewing room (my girl cave I affectionately call it), put on some netflix and got busy sewing. I made a mini-quilt to practice quilting using a stencil. Never have done it before- only ever meandered, I even got it finished and bound and now it's on my countertop under my crock of utensils and my coffee grinder. I get tired of seeing those pesky little coffee grounds all over my counter, so this way I figure I can just shake that off in the sink every few days. I was a happy camper and by 7:00 a.m. had breakfast fixed and by 9:00 we were out the door to meet friends and head north of town to a Fall festival. It was such a beautiful day outside- about 65*. Just cool enough to appreciate jeans and a denim shirt. All is good in my world today. :-)

I found the mate to a shoe that had been missing for a time, found a left orthodic to go with the right one I finally uncovered a couple weeks ago. Now I will hopefully not be as tired at the end of the work day. Obviously I am cleaning up some, which is a good feeling in itself. Including getting some of my stash organized. Enjoying a good book on tape. Cuddling my fur babies. All in all it has been a nice laid back day. Will do a little stitching this evening too.
