My daughter (who turns 30 this week) told me I will be a Nana in May. (Their first) Plus my son and wife are expecting #3 child in Feb. I guess I know what I will be sewing for the next couple of months. I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!

Watching our two kittens (Franklin and Eleanor) play...also working on piecing two lap quilts for Quilts of Valor. Piecing and rearranging the blocks on my design wall are my favorite aspects of quilting.

The suhshine and cool fall weather, the leaves blowing in the wind, walnut falling out of the trees (hubby not to happy with this one) , and the smell of a BBQ'd brisket in the crock pot, and the fact that it's time to sew!!
