My sister called to tell me that she got a package in the mail yesterday ( a surprise quilt I made for their anniversary and birthdays - all the same day) and she absolutely loved it. She knows the love and hours that went into it, and knew I would be waiting for the call!

I placed an order for over $100 to Nancy's Notions. Will be even happier when I receive it.

Last weekend my DH had a cancer tumor removed along with part of the kidney where it was located. It was found early and had not spread. Today he's feeling great, went to church. We had the grandkids ages 2 & 4 here and after dinner walked to a playground on this beautiful fall day. DH brought his metal detector and I "seeded" the ground with some coins for a treasure hunt. The grandkids had a ball with Grandpa. I'm so blessed.
