In between getting 14 scrap quilts done for Christmas presents, I made Renaissance fair outfits for me and youngest daughter. Oldest daughter has to make her own since she sews better than I do. It was fun to make clothes again. Hadn't done it in years.

Wanna see, wanna see! I love Renaissance clothing. Could you possibly post photos?

I should be working on my DD's RenFaire skirt and dress, but with my bum foot, standing for any length of time causes it to swell. She may just have to wear previous costuming at least the first part of the season, unless I'm able to get it cut out and sewn next week. Scarborough Faire starts a week from Saturday.

I've been working on UFOs for the last few months. This past week, I finished a navy and cream scrappy log cabin except for the last border, and made hundreds of small 4-patch units with the leftover strips. Very simple quilt, just scrappy 4-patch units alternating with cream tone on tone squares. I have enough 4-patches for a queen size quilt and a wall hanging or throw. I'm also working on an appliqued border for a pink and green medallion quilt.

I've been/am working on a log cabin quilt, king size, from a precut kit, for my Granddaughter's shower on April 11. Even though I plan to machine quilt it, I'm afraid I won't make the deadline. The lining fabric was very late arriving and it set me back four days on my schedule. Well, I have a backup present. Another shower will be in May, so I'll surely have it done by then! Silvia

I have gazillion things going on at one time! I'm making a cammoflauge (sp?) baby outfit for a friend's GGrandbaby. It's a vest and hat --- crochet. I've started cutting out fabric for curtains and valance in the breakfast room and valances in the kitchen -- all roosters. AND I'm working with a friend on a beaded 3-d hummingbird (OMG why did we start this one????)

And DH says he wants to go on a ride tomorrow.......sigh.
