I admit quilting has taken a back seat at this time. I've made Easter dresses for two dd's and a skirt. Now I have to make two fleece bears for baby gifts and I have a few more skirts I need to make for the girls. They've grown so much nothing fits anymore! One day soon though (hopefully) I will get started on another quilt....I have enjoyed making their dresses more than I usually do though.

I'd love to see those pretty Easter dresses! And anything else you've made. :D :D :-D

I haven't made anything recently other than starting another quilt block (yes, just one block). Things are in chaos right now (it's good chaos, though), and when I'm past that later this month, I'm hoping to get a sewing machine and do some beginner projects. I was just thinking of making some pretty, reusable lunch bags with some kind of protective liner. The idea being that most bags on the market aren't in the shape of the containers I like to use. Well, we'll see.

Winding up to make another set of baby shoes for a friend. Been looking through my Godey & Peterson fashion books, but I can't find a design that would look right for a baby boy.

This weekend I will be off to visit family & a new quilting store (Nimble Thimble)

redkimba I have a pattern in a magazine I got that has baby shoes in it. Mine are all older and I will never use it. Would you like it? If so just send me your addy and I'd be glad to send it to you. It was a Sew Beautiful magazine and the shoes had ribbon on them.

Been working on several things here lately. Today, I'm going to finish up a black, white, red bag for a custom order from my Etsy store. I've had to re-do the outside pocket 2 times, as didn't like how it looked. Finally got it on there yesterday and looks fine. The last think I will do is add a "stand-up" red embroidered butterfly to the edge of the pocket. I'll try to post a couple pictures later.

I am working on 3 Downey quilts, 2 charity quilts for my guild and a wedding quilt for a May 15 wedding.
Yes, I have worked on all 6 this last week. Only "finished" one, have only the back of the binding on another and quilting to do on 3 and the wedding quilt needs borders.
