    He has lost a pound a day since the 3rd (the day of the surgery). He can spare the weight so we are not worried about that. He can eat now but it is a little at a time and as soft as possible. I made homemade chicken noodle soup tonight...that went pretty well. Baby steps...tomorrow will be better still.

    Thank you everyone for your well wishes. It means a great deal to us.
    Maybe you should let him rest for a bit before you do that!
