We are still moving and taking care of two houses and yards and shops and........................................you get the picture!

Here is the neon green room I painted blue, that alone took 3 coats of paint. I don't have a picture of the black wall in the basement that I put two coats of primer on to cover that!! That 35 foot long concrete wall took forever.

    I'll be back to quilting????????????????????

In the meanwhile I lurk here when I need a break. :-D :-D

neon green, some like it, too overwhelming for me

I could feel myself relaxing when I looked at the blue room. That green was a little overwhelming. Hope you can get back to quilting soon.

That neon green made my head hurt. The blue is so nice and goes well with the window frames. Poor lonely machines, I think I saw a tear.

I should have mentioned that when we are on the road, houses are 5 hours apart, I work on my english piecing project or needlepoint. Have to keep my creative juices going. :)

As much as I like green, that particular shade would do my head in. Love the blue...bet you can't wait to get back to your machine. Brings back memories of when we moved to our house...everything was bright pink or bright sky blue, with beige ceilings and hideous pale pink trims. We didn't move in for about 4 weeks...there was so much ripping up of carpet and repainting.

I feel your pain with that green paint. Youngest DD and I decided to paint her room neon green and neon pink several years ago. Believe me, it was very NEON!!! It took several coats of primer to cover it up. I will now only use plain old white or beige---nice soothing, neutral colors!!
