Texas. It's like that all year. We have one month of winter, and thats January. It will maybe get down to the 20's, but its usually in the 30's Dec., Jan, and Feb. Our summer starts in March. Its wonderful, I moved down here 25 years ago from Illinois, and I could never go back now.

It is strange here, too...but I'm quite sure that we have nasty weather in our near future....I was in the yard with the dog just a little while ago...no coat...just a heavy sweatshirt. It is in the mid to high 30's.

I'm here on the central coast of California and we have the craziest weather since 1971 (not that I remember, just what the weatherman said). It has been so stinkin' cold. We have lows in the 20's at night. It warms up to high 60's and 70's during the day, but man, when the sun goes down you can forget about being warm. It's cold. We scraped ice off of our car this morning. I am not used to this. Don't even have a jacket warm enough for this kind of weather.

We've been getting big fluffy flakes since about nine this morning. Temperature has hovered around 0C all day and tonight it's supposed to drop with tomorrow at about -8C, with windchill of minus 16. So bundle up!

I remember that there was an Indian Summer in New York City during December 1982 and January 1983. I went there expecting freezing conditions and ended up walking around in a T-shirt and sun glasses. So I guess, if the conditions are right, it does happen every now and then. We are experiencing a very mild summer as well. It is usually blisteringly hot over Christmas and so far, we have had lots of thunderstorms...el nina.

I live in the central part of NYS, about an hour from Binghamton, Syracuse and Utica. It feels like we are stuck in some kind of weather limbo. But, I'm not complaining. No slipping, sliding or ungodly heating oil bills so far. Hope we don't pay for this in some cruel way this summer. I still have a couple of hardy flowers blooming in my container gardens.
