Jabba has 3 beds, 2 are just cheap foam beds bought from the pet store and 1 is wicker which has a loose pillow in it. He loves them all as long as he can prop his chin up on the side.....But his favorite is the couch and the loose pillows.

As a puppy Yukon liked this guy as a bed. He took it over from DD.
Now that he is older, he sleeps on the floor at the foot of the bed on one of the big Costco beds. During the day he or Riley will spend the morning on my bed. The other dog gets the Costco bed. Once I am home they both love a big blanket thrown down in front of the sliding door so they can watch the world go by. I don't buy anything fancy because it gets dirty so fast!

I made a mat for the 2 dogs- beagle and pug because they were trying to fit together in a small dog bed. It fell apart in the washer after washing it one too many times. The mat is great- it has a cushion foam from Wal-Mart with a cover that comes off for the washer, but the whole thing fits in the washer. Crouton (the pug) will wait for it to come out- she cries when it's in there.

2 weeks ago we bought a BIG one from Sam's Club- figuring they will want to be together. The pug is on it all the time. The beagle likes to lay on the couch- but she's only allowed on a blanket.

At night they go in their crates. They have blankies in there too.

my terrier lucy allows me to sleep on a King size bed with her at nightime, but during the other hours of the day, she either sleeps on mine or my DH lap. She likes to be touching one of us at all times when she sleeps. Yes, she is a 25 lb spoiled baby but I would not have it any other way.

Bess sleeps all over, the couch, the chair, under the bed, on the floor - She even crawls under my sewing table and sleeps on my feet! Lets you know how much I get done!!! She loves to be covered up in the Winter and a cotton sheet on the floor on a hot summer day. Bess, naturally, owns the house, we are at her bid and call and love every moment of it. #1 son comes over with the wife and kids and says "Look at Bess, she's on the couch, you never let me sit on the couch."
"Hey kid, you never owned the house either!!!!!" This same son now owns three dogs, two cats and same thing!!!!!!! Edie

A couple of years ago, I bought a couple of those big fluffy doggie beds from Walgrens, they wouldn't even get near them, so I returned them. I had a couple big pieces of that egg carton foam stuff, decided what size I wanted, then made a cover out of some upholstery fabric, put a zipper in it. They use it all the time.

Well, Mortimer has had all kinds, but now he has taken over the Queen Size bed in one of the empty bedrooms. For the Dane before him, we bought a large king size sleeping bag, and it worked great! And I could just throw it in the washer and dryer.

Here is Mortimer in his bed.
