I am enjoying the quiet waiting for the rest of the family to wake up. A little QB time and some hand quilting.

    Maybe contemplative mood.

Not a very good one. It's sort of a left-over depression from yesterday. I can usually handle bad days one at a time but June 25th is two rolled into one. Plus DH was being an absolute nightmare---at least while he was home--he was gone quite awhile flying RC planes with his brother. Just another lousy anniversary to add to the pile. Yep, 15 yrs and he spends it with his brother. No card, no Happy Anniversary, nothing. Add to that the fact that it was the 7th anniversary of my daddy getting killed and it just seems to always be a depressing day. It takes me awhile to get over June 25th. I'll be better in a day or two. I really miss my dad.

Aww, ((((((((((Hugs))))))))))) Hope you feel better soon. As for that DH of yours, he needs a dig in a tender place!

I know what you mean, both my parents are gone and there death and anniversary and birthdays all fall in the same month . It takes me a while to get back from that too. I suffer from depression anyways so it takes me awhile. Even reg days some good some bad. I love the movie Gone with the
Wind so I remember Scarlett's last line After all tomorrow is another day. I take one day at a time sometimes every minute.

I am in an ok mood. I have a pile of errands to run while it is still cool. I have a cousins' reunion in Pa tomorrow, It should be interesting and a beautiful drive. My son is a writer and he is coming with me. He wants to write about 2 of our cousins who disappeared around 9/11. Can't seem to find any record of them! Well, I'll get more done if I get off the computer. A good day everyone! Dotty/NYC

Aww Rapture, I am sorry about your Dad. It seems like when they pass away on a "big day" it makes it even worse. My Dad died on September 11. Two years before the terrorist attacks, it just makes it all seem worse, his death and the attacks are rolled into one big mess of a day for me.

    I really do understand.
