Today my daughter took five steps across the living room! I was giddy with excitement and she had no idea why I scooped her up and laughed and cried and covered her with kisses! I am the mostest blessed Mommy in the world!!

Had a free sample of Chocolate Cheesecake Fudge at Sams Club! There was a sales vendor there offering fudge.

Over dinner hubby was telling me why I need to trade my machine in for a new one. Now we just need to find the right one. I LOVE sewing machine research.

Oh my gosh. I had lost 4 BOM blocks, somewhere in the house. I had them on the bottom bunk bed before our twins (grandsons),came to visit. I know they were there but could not remember where I moved them to. Low and behold I finally found them this morning! I had folded them into my Christmas quilt top. Had looked all over the house but there of course. I was about to make them over last night too, so finding them made me very happy today.
Also had lunch with some ladies that were in my quilt class years ago, we go out once a month, that always make me happy too.

The all day meeting actually ended early at 3 pm today, instead of 6 pm, and my new shower will be ready to go tomorrow evening. :):)

My listening to Bollywood music and imagining walking around my house in a salwar kameez (Clothes in India... I love India... there are things I don't like a bout it... but yeah.)

What made me happy today was seeing all the blooms on my rose bushes. One plant is particularly fragrant and the blossoms smell soooooo good.

I used my sewing machine for the first time and completed my march doll quilt! I was very happy and proud of myself for not freaking out!

That I was able to sew! That Dad came through his surgery and is home! That I have a wonderful husband that took over the house and kids while I was at the hospital. Life is GOOD to me!
