I picked 9 cucumbers in our little garden today, the first time we get fresh veggies on our own since the 1980's. Only have tomatoes, cukes, and winter squash.

Got to have a pizza and ice cream sundae lunch date with my sweet hubby. The weather was perfect today. Not too hot, with a nice breeze. Lots of birds were singing today.

5:00, an adult beverage and Wednesdays are my Fridays!!!!!!!! Also tomorrow I'm having coffee with my new neighbor who is a quilter.

I had a Facebook friend request from someone I had not heard from in a very long time.

My Dh went grocery shopping with me, did not get in my way or put extras in the cart, and did not have a 'cow' when the total came up. He did ask if that was for four months worth of eating with a smile on his face.

Oh, and I went to LQS to get template plastic and bought some purdy fabrics for my Farmers' Wife quilt even tho I wasn't going to buy any. :lol:

I went for a 3 1/2 mile hike with my husband today - AND SAW A BEAR! It was large and gorgeous and didn't eat us, so it was a good encounter. :-) I've always sort of wanted to see one close up in the wild, and got my wish today. It was actually a little closer than I bargained on, but it was nice to see him in "his" world.

I got a wonderful massage this afternoon! I have a phenomenal friend who went to massage school and charges me $20 for a one-hour massage. I have one every week; I am so spoiled by her!

I got to piece a doll quilt together get it sandwiched and started hand quilting it I also got to talk with my dad while watching my son swim it was a good day.
