What about "The story?"
I don't know if that's the real name of it but that's what I know it by.
Somebody starts a story "Once upon a time" or "It was a dark and stormy night" or whatever, and then each person adds one or more words to it.
If it goes on too long or runs out of steam, someone says "the end" and can start another story.
This might have been tried here once already. I'm getting my message boards mixed up.
