My husband and I call one another Lump and Bump. It started with him calling me Pumpkin, which changed into Pumple-lumpkin, which changed into Pumple E. Lumpkin, which changed into Lumpkin, which changed into Lump. Lump and Bump. And when we make the bed, we're Ted and Fred; as in, Let's make the bed, Fred. Okay, Ted.

    Sick, huh?

He called my oldest son (Erik) Roscoe so many times, that when people asked my son his name, he announced "Roscoe." And my other son, Matthew, is known as The Mattinator (as in Terminator).

I call my DH Honey or Darlin' most of the time. He calls me "Baby" or Darlin"
My DM and DF called each other "Sweetheart"
My oldest DD was I called doodle bug....my second DD I called susie Q...and my youngest Paula Poo......
Living here in the south, it is common for people to call each other Honey....I don't really notice it any more under most circumstances. There are occassionally times when it doesn't seem appropriate... :D

When my granddaughter was still in the oven, we called her biscuit, after she was born, my husband said that was the cutest little "fooie" thing he ever saw! It stuck, still to this day, we call her "fooie, fooz, foo-bear, she is now 4, has a little brother, and everyone has to have a "Bubba" (if you live in TX") in their family, so, he's our first! Real name Kaleb. Granddaughter is Kennedy. They will always be my Fooie and bubba tho!

My youngest is called doodle bug, my oldest is called shell and she hates it her full name is Michelle. My son doesn't really have a nickname now that he is an adult but as a child he was called kissyfur as my youngest could not say Christopher.

My nick name is Pat, real name is Janice Marie. People who have known me for years think that Pat is my real name. Call my one granddaughter Gracie Mae, she hates it, call grandson Bubba. He calls me grandpa D.
