I have two Jack Russell Terrier named Russell and Tammy. Well Russell loves to sew with me He will jump up on my lap when I'm sewing . when he is not in my lap he cries. Some times he is in my chair at the sewing machine by him self as if he is sewing. Now Tammy will drag Russell around when they have their leashes on. She will lead him around as if she was walking him not me.

The funniest thing Sassi does is the little hind leg foot thing dogds do after they potty. Sassi doesn't just kick one leg a couple of times, she goes from leg to leg, front to back, looks like she is doing a little dance each time. And when she wants to go out, or to bed, she sits and stares at me until I ask "what do you want?". Then she jumps on my lap, and kisses me over and over until I say ,"okay!! If I lay down for a nap, she gives me one hour and then she nudges me to get up. Sassi is part Peke, part Shih, three years old. Like another member mentioned, when our Cairn would have a seisure, Sassi would run to her and stay next to her until Matti was clear -headed again.

She wasn't trained for this, but she was a puppy when I brought her home shortly after Champ's first seizure & I think she just somehow "learned" that he needs help. While he seizures, she stays by his side until he's ready to get up & she won't leave him until he's got his bearings again.
That brought warmth to my heart...I don't know how anyone can ever hurt an animal...love this story...I sometimes wish I had 2...because they become such great pals...

Had one boss of our "wolf pack" which was a black, half Siamese cat. Zabo was bossy, and loved cantaloup. Every time I cut one he was screaming with that wild Siamese yell and climbing my pants leg for his share. The Wolf pack (Doberman Pinschers) would come running for their shares too.

Now my half Siamese brown and white Koko is proving himself to be smart. I heard one man flatly insist that no one could teach a cat tricks like a dog. Koko's proved him wrong. He can roll over for a treat, shake hands, speak (when he feels the reward is worth it) and sit up and beg. The female white Persian watches all this with wide eyes, obviously wondering about his sanity!! She gets all she wants by being just being cute.

our neighbors have a big old dog they got when he was grown. One day he "passed gas", neighbor said "Pee-yew!" Dog got up and walked into the other room. Does this everytime.
Dog will also watch you while you are eating, but if you catch his eye, he will look away. Look at something else, he is back to watching you.
This is a dog with an innate sense of guilt...

My cat is responsible for my losing my "regular" status on here! Since I discovered this board I usally sit & catch up on it in the morning with my coffee. My cat is on to me & jumps up on me when I sit down at the computer! She likes to snuggle in a way that I only have one hand free & don't get to comment like I would like to!

Smokey, our big fluffy cat, stays out at night with access to our enclosed back porch. He is always on the look-out for someone to pet him. Our littlest dog, Sassy (a 7 lb. mini-dachsund), is always looking for someone to rub her neck. When we let our dogs out in the morning, Smokey runs up expectantly and Sassy runs out looking for him. It's so funny to watch them together--he tries to rub his head on her and she tries to rub her neck on him and neither of them seems to really understand what the other wants although they both keep trying. (I'd post pictures, but I can't find where I stored them on my computer...) Furbabies are great! I can't imagine my life without them!!

OMG you have a presa they are beautiful animals. My DD ex BF that she was with for over 2 years had one. It would come and visit and even sleep over. I loved Harley, she was a brindle. Most people don't even know what a presa is. They look so mean but Harley would freak out if a leaf droped next to her. do you have any pics? They are know for killing a woman in her apartment building in CA years ago.
