    First for the Atonement.
Second for my husband still by my side.

Earlier today I decided to keep a weekly gratitude journal. My entry for this week was a great doctor I saw today. She is a geriatric doctor and usually doesn't see patients under the age of 65. I'm 62. She was so helpful in answering questions about breast cancer...

I am grateful for surviving an abusive childhood and becoming the woman I am today in spite of it. I am grateful for my wonderful husband, who is my best friend, staunchest supporter, and the best thing that has ever happened to me. He's taught me how to be loved. I'm grateful for my mother in law, who for 30 years has been the mother I never had, and loves me like her own. I am blessed.

My daughter who without whom I would not have a roof over my head. My brother who I reconnected with a few years back. That my daughters have finally gotten their heads out of their butts and are talking to each other again. That I finally got my disability after 6 years of fighting. That since I did I have Medicare and found an awesome doctor that repaired my second aneurysm and fixed the whacked up job the other doctor did on my first. Emory Hospital. My foster puppies. My dog Andy. Having a computer.

Anyway I use to be able to read and follow instructions but they don't compute anymore. So I have to have pictures. I always thought anyone could sew it was so easy for me. Then I realized they can't. Their brains just don't work that way. Just like mine doesn't do math.
