OH you poor soul!!! I hate skunk. Try Odor Ban! You can get it at Sams Club, Wally World, etc. That stuff really works to kill smells and it sort of smells like euculyptus (sp). Never tried for skunk, but might work. Has worked on killing dog urine odor.

    Good Luck!!

Not funny. I was just thinking of posting about those critters today too. I think we have one that creeps under our trailer. Funny thing is, it seems to be here overnight, when it should be prowling. The odor goes away during the day. The odor also only comes through one vent in our floor...also odd.
Either way, it is not a nice scent...makes my nose hairs tingle.

Here is something to try take a raw onion and cut it in half leave it in the room cut side up all the smell will go right to the onion. I read somewhere that the cut onion will pick up any smell or germ you have in the room. Can't hurt to try it.

Oh you poor thing. That is the most awful smell I can imagine. Hopefully the bedroom is better tonight.

Yucky! My mother, one early morning grabbed her coffee cup and went to the neighbors house. She knocked on the door and said "Bunny, you have to give me coffee this morning because your dog scared a skunk right next to our house".

It still smells this morning, not as bad or I am getting use to it. I have essential oils so I put a few drops of peppermint oil on the light bulb in the room and turned on the light. The heat from the bulb is suppose to get the oil hot and penetrate the air. I will let you know if it works. While I am typing I am thinking if isn't hot only in the 60's it will get hot later but for now maybe I will put some drops of the oil down the floor vent and turn the heat on just long enough to heat the oil so it will blow around the room.

I will keep you posted if it works.

I know it sounds weird, but it does keep deer away, Original Scent Irish Springs. Maybe a few boxes (leave soap in boxes) around will help deter these buggers!

I had one under my house and it kept digging under the skirting. I used moth balls to get rid of it. It took 10 boxes to finally chase it away. I was lucky it had never sprayed under there but the moth balls sure were smelly. After I was sure the skunk was gone, I crawled under the house and gathered up all the balls and got rid of them. It took a while to air out but the skunk never came back!
