What are you making for Mothers Day gifts?

I thought this would be fun to see what others will be making for Mothers Day?

I am going to make my mom a table runner using the tube quilt method that I just learned in a class.

I'm not making anything as my DM and DMIL are both gone!

But if they were still here I would probably make them both lap quilts while they are sitting in their chairs.

Haven't thought that far ahead! J/K- I have a wedding shower next week and I'm finishing up the table runners for prizes and making some items for the bride- she loves quilty things.

It will give me a week- probably a table runner for Mom- although a lap quilt sounds like something she would like (she loves my quilty gifts too).

I think I am going to make my mom a Bow Tucks Bag. She loves strawberries so I am using a fabric with them in it. I hope she likes it.

I swapped extra blocks in the quilting bee swap to get Southwest style blocks, going to pack them up and mail them to mom so she can put them together however she wants.I will also buy the backing and batting. not sure what else I am getting her

If your mom or mother in law are gone, why not make a memory wall hanging with photos so you can still enjoy!
