So happy to see that someone else gets into a certain topic and can't rest until you've read it ad nauseum. I did that with True Crimes and it took 20 years for me to break the habit. And historical bios or presidents are favorites.

If you like JP, you might enjoy Harlan Coben and Michael Connelly..I've read all of their books and am waiting for the next ones!!!!
    Try James Rollins also....
    Also like Clive Cussler.

I just finished Jane Aurl's "Land of the Painted Caves"
Since I had read all the others in the series, I had to finish it. It was OK....way too long for me. I think she could have eliminated about 200 pages by not being repeating certain background things as often as she did.
If reading it in bed, be sure to be sittting up...one can get a nasty bump on the head from that nearly 800 page tome.

Anyone read "Atlas Shrugged" or "Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand? Read both back in the early '60's and "Atlas Shrugged" has recently been reprinted. Timely book.

I loved "An Irish Country Doctor" by Patrick Taylor, also read "An Irish Country Village" and am currently reading "An Irish Country Christmas". There are more in the series. I love the sense of humor and characters. I discovered them through our church book club.
The Help was great and James Patterson is another of my favorites as is Sue Grafton.

OMG! Yes, read both of Ayn Rand's books when I was a wee tot. Fabulous, fabulous, and I still remember how enthralling they were.
