I recently re-read my all-time favorite book, "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn". Our large apartment building has a library, just take what you want and bring down any books you no longer want, and someone left a few paperbacks by Faye Kellerman. I enjoy her Lazarus/Decker books. For the past month or so the book I've spent the most non-quilting time with is my NY Times Sunday Puzzle collection. But mostly my hand holds a needle.

Thank you all for the book suggestions! I'm always looking for new authors/books to read. I have read some of the ones mentioned above, but only a few of them. Not reading right now as I am "cleaning house" and getting ready for a huge yard sale in a couple weeks.

If you create an account on Goodreads and then enter and rate books you've read, the data base does a really good job of recommending more books you will like based on your reading habits. I like the added bonus of having a readily accessible file of books I've read to help keep track and the ability to add wish list books that I can browse.
Based on a Goodreads recommendation, I just read
"The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry"
which turned out to be a surprisingly good story. Now the companion novel is on my wish list.
I'm always looking for novels with quilts in them, so have added Lauraine Snelling to my authors-to-read list. Thanks!

I just started reading the Poldark series by Winston Graham. So far, it's really good. There are 12 books in the series. One of my favorite books is The Lion by Nelson Demille. Everyone I know who have read it really like it.

I LOVE the Outlander series. Had to re-read all the first 7 books as I received #8 for my birthday in July. Right now I am reading the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. I have read all The Cat Who books at least 4 times start to finish. Love the James Rollins books. Also liked "The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All" (it became a made-for-tv movie in 1994).
I am also a Clive Cussler fan. I've read every book of his that I could find.
