I am thankful for my Lord and my family--a loving husband, 3 great kids and 10 beautiful grandchildren. I can ask for their help ( I am 71 and my husband 79 ) and they are always willing to do whatever they can! My son who works long hours, stopped by last night and got a lawn mower running for my DH and an older Kenmore sewing machine I bought at a sale adjusted so it would sew! I was really excited to be able to use it. God is good.

My family is all safe and in their beds.
I passed my first phlebotomy test and two Law & Ethic tests.
I did my first phlebotomy stick - unsuccessful because no blood, but I did it and was not nervous and it did't hurt the 'patient' (student).
My family had dinner ready when I got home from school.
I only have 40 Granny Squares left to crochet black border on before I start piecing together so I can use it on the deck in the mornings while drinking my coffee.

My best friend Tom passed away this pasted Saturday. I'm very sad but, most thankful that god gave me the past ten years to share with Tom. Not an intimate relationship, just a guy and a girl who respected one another, loved one another and shared all the good and bad times. I don't believe I'll ever have another friend like Tom. I feel privileged for having known him and thank God for every minute I had with him. Let's remember not to take our relationships for granted!!

I am thankful for all my QB friends who are so helpful and kind. Life is a blessing and I am so grateful to be able to enjoy it.

    Life.
While my health might be very poor, it is still useful.
My children, a roof over my head, and a meal on the table.
    Thank You

Being cancer free My dh, and the fact that he will massage my aching whatever when I ask him to My four doxies who love me, and make me laugh every day being able to pay my mortgage each month food on the table being able to read and write, don't take that for granted, it's a big deal... finding my Skelton family after 40 years, and getting to "be me, in spite of all the people who would have loved to change me, along the way.
