wenatchee washington is the apple capital of the world. we set on the columbia river. grow all types of fruit. i now live in a cherry orchard. have the ocean on the west desert on the EAST. THE MIDDLE IS THE BEST IN WASHINGTON.

The world's first radio station was established in Pittsburgh in 1920, KDKA, 1020 on the dial (FM) and it is still going strong.
OOPS! I meant to say 1020 AM, not FM. I don't know what the FM is - I just dial until I find it!

Montreal, Saint Joseph's Shrine atop the Mount Royal, Old Montreal where the colony was started in 1642, the underground city downtown, 4 universities,the Botanical Garden, the Olympic Park, the Planetarium, Its summer festivals Jazz (the biggest in the world), Just for Laughs, Francofetes in the Summer. Festival of Lights in the winter.
Last week-end we had the bike circuit, one at night and the other daytime for families. They register about 15,000 people for each . This week-end we have the Grand Prix, Formula 1 car race. Of course Montreal roots for the Canadians (hockey club) that sport is a religion here. Soccer team, Tennis in August, the colours of fall, and snow and cold in winter.That is only a small sample of what Montreal has to offer. I didn't mention the warmth of its residents, you'll have to experience it yourself! Oh! I forgot the food
