Ft. White is a very small town but we do have a state park that has a river going through it called Itchtucknee and you can raft or tube sown it and it is protected in it's natural state. There is a swimming hole and a place that you can dive. The water is never over 70 and of course we have the University of Fl in Gainesville.

We live in a rural area and the PO is in, I guess back in the day it was a flourishing small town. Railroad station, store, creamery, etc. Now its' basically the PO and a gas station. But we say where the stone quarry is and where the big Pflatzgraf plant used to be.

I no longer live in Texas, but I was born and raised there. While I lived in the Dallas area growing up, my sister went to Baylor in Waco. It is an ongoing joke that Waco should be pronounced Whacko because of all the crazy things that have happened there and all the weird people who have at one time or other inhabited this city. God bless all the normal people who have had to witness such history!
