I must have a very hardy immune system cuz I have eaten a ton of soft serve without problem. (Lucky me!) But I do make a homemade coconut chocolate chip that tastes like a cold Mounds Bar. Yummo!

Homemade is best.
Baskin Robbins Coconut Pecan.
Coldstone Sweet Cream and coffee with add ins.
Breyers French Vanilla is pretty good.
Can't do Dairy Queen or other soft serves beacause it alway's causes bacterial infection. to many critters growing in it. Do like there Blizzards though about once a year.

Second -- Although I detest Vernor's ginger ale, they make (at least I think they still make it; it's been a while) a fantastic ice cream. Probably just a Michigan thing since I haven't seen Vernor's outside of MI.

What kind of a Michigander are you, not to love Vernors??? (Just kidding!)
I don't recall ever seeing their ice cream (grew up in MI). The ginger ale isn't a major national brand, but I have seen it in Philadelphia and central PA; Atlanta, GA; northernVermont; and other places. It's usually sold in supermarkets that offer more variety. I've also seen it in non-chain pizzerias on college campuses and in the artsy part of town.
