Starbuck's Java Chip. The taste is wonderful, but the texture is beyond belief! It has to be the smoothest ice cream ever!

In the 80's I managed an ice cream/dairy store. The sanitation law for the dipper is that it has to be in a water bath. The water bath has to be a constant run of water. We cleaned our dippers several times a day in hot soapy water..and the dipping well was also.
My favorite ice cream is Bill Macks (local, York County PA) Coconut ice cream. I don't get it to offen.
My other choices are Turkey Hill Coffee or Greens Pocono Tracks (vanilla with fudge swirl and mini peanutbutter cups and peanutbutter running thru it) YUMMO!!!
Coffee icecream is great with hot fudge on it!!!

We have a kind here called Udderly Divine... vanilla ice cream chock full of a wonderful milk chocolate swirl and tiny peanut butter cups. LOVES it!

Once a year or so Edy's ice cream makes a special flavor with Girl Scout thin mint cookies in it. I LOVE it!

During the rest of the year I go for plain old chocolate

In Upland Indiana there is a sandwich/ice cream shop called Ivanhoes that makes 100 different sundeas and 100 different shakes, or they will make anything that you dream up. My Grandma used to get me a dip a chocolate or vanilla ice cream with marshmello and hot fudge topping when I was a girl. Now that Grandma is gone and I'm all grown up, I get a marshmello shake with hot fudge topping to remember her by. I also was really fond of bubble gum ice cream in a waffel cone as a kid. Taste really gross now, but loved it as a kid. I also love Chunkey Monkey by Ben & Jerrys, but don't buy it much any more because hubby says there is not enough in that tiny pint to feed a baby.
