Oh, I live around alot of plant farms and I go to them and look around but I love to go antiquing, oh yummy! Especially with my cousins, we cut up and have a great time. One of us always finds a "bargain"

when I am not quilting I like to work in the garden, make dolls, basket weaving, knitting, needlepoint, painting, play with my girls, read this forum, go fishing, take a nap, eat ice cream, bake cookies, go shopping for fabric, dream of a new quilt to make, look forward to my next day off work........ :D :D :D

Of course I love quilting. During the summer camping is a favorite pass time. I love reading too.

Quilting (of course), spending time with my online friends, crocheting, cross stitch, gardening, camping, fishing, reading, spending time with the grands, special times with my mom, scrapbooking, cookouts, girls night out (yep even old people have those), and just enjoying life!

Quilting, surfing the quilt board, cardmaking and scrapbooking if I get the time.

Quilting, Quilt Board! Creating new things, reading, internet searching, rides in the country, enjoying sunny days.

Watching my handful of grandchildren, enjoying coffee & quiet time with DH after they all go home (LOL), planting flowers, reading the Bible, Bible study, quilting, reading OB, looking and drooling over all the beautiful quilts & really enjoy making true friends here. Some are just so generous!

    Does anyone here like quilling?

    [IMG]http://i564.photobucket.com/albums/s...lowerheart.jpg[/IMG]

You twirl long thin strips of paper and arrange them into whatever your imagination dreams up. It looks very intricate but it`s just a matter of rolling up the strips, pinching them into various shapes and using them to create a picture.

I really enjoy it. Aside from this I also love embroidery, gardening, cooking and of course quilting.

I also collect hearts, shells, old glass paperweights and roosters.

(I don`t have a computer compatible camera so these are not my work, just examples I found on the web to illustrate what quilling is.)

When not sewing, hand quilting or hand appliqueing, I like to read, garden, work on my house, and my number 1 love, travel! Or is quilting my number 1 love and travel my number 2 love? Well, best of all is a quilt trip that I take each year with my quilting friends. This year, we're going to Cape Cod in Oct. Yay! Can't wait!
