What are your favorite things to do?

Since I live in the greater Los Angeles area (make that the suburbs) there is always so much going on, that it seems weekends are too short. Last weekend went to the Pasadena Doo Dah parade, (http://www.pasadenadoodahparade.info/) next weekend is the Renaissance Fair (yes, I made a costume and I dress up). I think the weekend after that is the Scottish festival. My interests are so varied that it can really keep me on the go.
In the evenings, I needlepoint, read, watch a bit of TV. I also like to cook. I've tried quilling, but nothing as wonderful as what Carlasuewho shows. And I do love to shop! Clothes, fabrics, shoes, you name it. Shopping is fun.

I guess you mean besides thinking about fabric and playing with fabric.
Photography, writing poetry, collecting cobalt blue glassware, and rooting for the Boston Bruins hockey team.

I like quilting, oil painting, crocheting, reading a good mystery, and writing letters to friends and family by snail mail. Watching the wildlife that comes into our yard. Playing with all of my animals 5 dogs and a cat. Visiting this quilting board.

For me its, quilting, watching movies and tv, reading, music, baking. We have some beautiful woods near us so we love to walk there, and they look fabulous whatever the season, though autumn is my favourite time. As we live only about one hour away from London hubby and myself try to go there about every four weeks or so for a day of sightseeing and walking. I love to visit thrift shops to try and pick up any bargain fabrics and I couldn't go a day without coming on here to keep up with you all.

Marsye, I'll go with you!! I love the penny slots!! The closest casino is an hour away, most likely a good thing, or I'd be there entirely too often! ;)
I do all sorts of needlework. I used to scrapbook, but have lost interest in it, so am selling all of my scrapping stuff. I love to read, and I'm a homebody. I spend so much time with people at work that I'm happy not seeing a soul on my days off!
