We love our boat!!! Looked for a lot of years before we found it, but it has been wonderful! I would tell anyone who likes the water it is the best investment you can make.

Bestfriend and I going to my land in SE Texas for a 'girls weekend out'...probably laze around, go for a drive or three through the piney woods, and hit a few fabric stores, garden centers and craft shops along the way. Oh and visit with DD, DGS and other friends.

We're going to the MN State Fair this afternoon and then headed up to the cabin for a 4 day weekend. It's near St. Cloud and the high tomorrow is only 61 and the overnight low is 45, so I will definitely be doing some hand quilting! I love hand quilting in cool temps because the quilt is in my lap while I quilt (I don't use a hoop). I'm looking forward to a relaxing, cooler weekend!

Saturday, we will go to our friends' 60th anniversary luncheon at a hoity-toidy restaurant. That will be fun because NONE of us are snooty people so the poor waiters will be in for an interesting day. lol

Sunday, I believe we will hook up with our German friends at the Gold Rush Days in Old Sacramento. They have a 6 year old who likes me. (Strange child - lol)

Monday I better get some time to do some sewing! That's all I gotta say.

We are headed to our cabin up in the Prescott area. During this time of year it is about a twenty degree difference from our home in the Phoenix area to the cabin door.Kids and Granddaughter and some friends are coming up for the week-end.
