I have a tee shirt quilt to put into the frames and get quilted. I might paint some on the new addition, something I hate to do. Just being home and in my comfty clothes and no work to do sounds great.

DH and DS are leaving Friday for the LSU football game. My best friend, who introduced me to quilting, is coming for the weekend. We are planning on sewing, swimming, talking and maybe sipping on a few adult beverages. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Saturday I'm signing up for quilting classes, and taking a clay class. Sunday I'll be doing sewing AND sewing :) Same on Monday but throw in some laundry and other house work on Sunday/Monday :)
Hubby will probably do the cooking, and I plan on going by a friend's house for just a few as she's having a cookout on Sunday ... :)

We'll be hosting our annual Water Volleyball Tournament - We call it the Greenbriar Cup. Our dau and family will be here from DC, our dau from CA, and our CA dau's college soulmate and her family. I'll have 4 little girls to play with while the adults play in the water. We always have a great, great time.

We, too, are camping this weekend. We like to take day outings while camping, so plan on a flea market and some garage sales. Think I can score like the one lady who found an old treadle machine for $25?? Probably not, but will try! Just finished quilt #7 since the beginning of the year and DH asked that I not start another until Tuesday. LOL! Have a great Labor Day Weekend everyone!!!

Saturday I have to babysit DGD--she is a joy but only one so not much sewing. Sunday going to a craft show and then to dinner with some friends. Monday big family cookout. First that DS has hosted looking forward to that and then meeting back here to close the pool for the season.

Taking my hubby up North to a B&B on Torch Lake for his b'day. There is a big arts and crafts fair at Castle Farm Sat and Sun. We will probably go throw some money away at the casino in Traverse City. And just cruise around.

I will be alone so I plan on sewing. When the kids were little I made costumes I felt I have to make something Halloweeny so I am going to make a quicky quilt, I am using fleece as a backing and a super thin batting and just tying it. The fabric I have are all 44" wide but they range anywhere from a few inches to about 18 inches. I am going to randomly sew them together stripey and however it comes out it comes out. I have green gingham so I will use that as a border, it will match the green in the pumpkins and the monsters and witchs faces. It will be a nap size or maybe a little smaller I don't have much in my stash. It will be for DD to cuddle under. Once that is done I will start on popcorn bags to give as gifts in the fall. Fall just says popcorn to me. I have scarecrow fabric that I will fussy cut and applique on to the cotton bags. That should keep me busy until Tuesday.
