I was a Licensed Practical Nurse, then became a stay at home mom for 8 yrs, then went into the Civil Service working for the Federal Government as an Administrative Assistant for the NATO AWACS program, then out of the Civil Service and became an Executive Assistant with the National Kidney Foundation. When that job was deleted after 5 yrs I became a Real Estate Agent. Did that for 2 yrs and then had to "retire" to take care of my elderly in-laws. Am now permanently retired and do only things that I enjoy like reading, quilting, cooking and baking and spending time with my grandkids.

I'm a labor and delivery RN. I am also a certified lactation counselor. At work there are many things that I am assigned to do on any given day. I could assist pt and doctor with delivering a newborn, be the nurse who cleans and assesses a newborn, takes care of new moms and their newborns, or be in the nursery with all the newborn babies.

I am a medical typist. I find quilting is a common hobby for health workers - must be the stress relief it provides.
