I'll be preparing for college, going to local fests, possibly cemetary hopping... It's a ghost thing and it's mainly due to my sister... and I get spend a week educating some kids.

Lay low, stay out of the heat as much as possible, do some day trips, go to Marshall's in Arkansas (WooHoo), bust through as much of my stash as I can, go to some of my DGS's ballgames.

Will be entertaining guests all summer - they start arriving the first week of July and leave just before labor day. Our vacation will be in October - going away for a month!!!

I'll be volunteering at a Christian camp CA sometime this summer, and I'll probably do some Civil War re-enacting as well! Oh, and of course I'll be quilting! :)

Hopefully moving closer to Olivia. Have to find a house first. DH is already discouraged and we've only been looking for one week.

Not alot. A day at the ocean mid June and the Maine Quilt Show end of July. My 10 yr. old granddaughter will be coming for a week mid June and going to the coast with me that one day; then the grandson will be here the first 2 weeks in July. I will be taking him to the coast also for a day. We plan on going for a 3 hr. whale watch when he comes. Otherwise, hoping to get a little camping in if there is money left after we get done paying for new siding and windows on the house. We are also adding gliding windows to replace the screens on our porch, to make it enjoyable for 3 seasons instead of just summer. Just got done having the roof reshingled. Everything starts going after 36 years living in a place. I have never moved very far lol. Grew up about a mile up the road from the time I was 8, then my Grammie gave me this piece of land right after I got married so we only lived in an apt. for 1 yr. Last year we bought the property adjoining ours, which was my grandparents place when I was little. Now no one can build next to us and we will always be able to enjoy the lovely view while sitting on our 10'x24' porch. The other night there was a beautiful fox over there.

My last day of school is Tues., the 8th. This summer I plan to volunteer at least one day a week at our extension office helping the ext. educators who are in charge of the 4H program which is very big in our county. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, they cannot have a summer intern and will have to rely on volunteer help to be ready for the fair in July. Other than that, I intend to read, quilt, sew, do some gardening and enjoy having our daughters home for the summer. DH and I will probably try to do some day-trips here and there and maybe get away for a few days to celebrate our 31st anniv the end of June. I know summer will go fast and before I know it, school will start again in Aug.

Camping with DGD. She loves it. And some quilting. But that's good any time of the year.
