I am working on finishing up decorating, christmas shopping, regular grocery shopping, I've got a Blooming Nine Patch quilt class that I'm starting this weekend, and working on my mystery quilt blocks and finishing up some placemats

Have to get the tree up today between breakfast and birthday party for GD this afternoon. Maybe check out my machine while hubby is at choir practice as it just came back from shop yesterday.

Husband and I cut down a tree today and just finished decorating. Might be finishing the hand quilting on a lap quilt tonight. Just sewed together a pair of fingerless gloves I knitted. Basted another lap quilt and two placemats. Hope to machine quilt the placemats and a second lap quilt tomorrow. Have three mug rugs in mind for gifts but if that doesn't happen, it will be no biggy. Things are finally coming together. Get these gifts finished and might have time and energy to do a little Christmas sewing for my own house.

I just received Jinny Byer's Woven Ribbons quilt kit today. Over 120 fabrics in the quilt top. I can't wait to get started!

Well, DH was away from Thurs till late this afternoon. Last evening I went to my school stafff party at my principal's house and today I intended to cut out squares for a raggy quilt, do FMQing on placemats for my girls, and wrap gifts. However, my plans changed when I discovered some of my favorite stores were having 40 and 50% off sales today! I went shopping instead. 6 hours later (having done plenty of damage to the checking account) I came home...totally finished with my shopping for this year. This evening, DH and I ordered a pizza and are watching Xmas DVDs. Tomorrow afternoon I will try to do what I had intended for today.
