    My washer eats socks. Not a matching pair, but one of each color.

    I read somewhere that since clothes are sewn 'inside' out, that they tend to revert to that position. Kind of makes sense to me. LOL

    For me, I'm convinced the washer is eating my black socks. Not my regular socks. Just the black ones. I think I could set a record for the number of unmatched black socks I have in my drawer, but I hate to throw them out, because I know as soon as I do, I'll find the mates.

    I have decided that socks are actually hanger larve.... when you find that one sock is missing is about the time you realize that you have a few more empty hangers than you thought! lol
