Overcast with heavy clouds and just a misting of tiny rain drops for about 2 minutes an hour ago. We haven't had any moisture all summer so we're kinda hoping we get some rain sometime soon. Temp. is about 67 degrees.

wow! feathers, you can send some of that dry air over here, we can use it.
in return you can have some of the muggiest weather you've ever experienced.

It's HOT, but then it's not as hot as early September usually is, this type of cooling doesn't normally come our way until the middle of October. We were blessed to receive a true cool front and it reduced the temp's along with bringing some glorious wet stuff (not enough though). It's about 93º today with low 70's in the early AM.

Right now. 7pm here in Iowa. It's a gorgeous 73 with a light breeze the sun's still just peeking over the horizon, all around PERFECT!

The great Pacific NW, Butterflywing. I don't envy you your humid weather. We don't have much humidity EVER but on the very occassional times we have a bit of it we complain mightily about it. It seems like I can't breathe when its humid.

Oh, I agree! I've been to humid places and it felt like I could breathe in a drink of water. In some ways, it (and heat), seems to paralyze me...

Today is a gorgeous, sunny, NON-HUMID day in the Banana Belt of the Pacific NW. Nights are getting cooler, mornings definately have a "fallish" feeling but our days are warm and nice. Suppose to reach 84 degrees today, last night it was 55 degrees. LOVE early fall.
