I can empathize with you cold snow area people. I went to college in S Idaho then 1 and a 1/2 years volunteer work there. I'll never forget my first semester at Ricks. There were people there who loved to tell Californians how cold it got out there. One person told me gleefully that it got so cold out there "you nose hairs freeze together!" They were SO right!

I'm not sure of the temp now, but yesterday morning it was a wonderful -3 and even colder with the windchill. I had to get up and go the work. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Right now with wind chill it is 13 degrees.

here in Perth Western Australia it is heading for a scorching 39 degrees Celsius today! have aircon on and got up early to do jobs outside.

Like blahel I live in Perth...I did a quick conversion to Farenheit...its about 102.2. Time to put ice cubes in the pet bowls, the budgies have their bath attached (I'm putting a couple of cubes in there too. Will be attempting to finish my denim quilt, it's just too hot to do much else.
