as a child or teenager, that you never told your parents about, or not until YEARS later?

When I graduated 6th grade, my friend and I, and my sister who is 2.5 years older, took the train into the big city and went to a restaurant at the top of a skyscraper. All we could afford was a piece of cake, lol.
My mom had passed and my dad worked all day. My friend's mom also worked all day. We got home before the parents and never said a word. This was all over 40 years ago.

It's sad to say, but I can't think of anything. I always followed the rules, was too afraid of getting into trouble, my dad can lecture for hours, LOL. Still don't like to make him mad and I'm in my 50's. My siblings made up for it though.

That would be a lot scarier in today's world.

wow, we're a pretty tame bunch aren't we? my BIL and DH lived near Harvard University - they used to climb on the flat roofs of the dorms and drop small firecrackers down the vent pipes, hoping to scare someone off the hopper. Real JD's!

I was about 12 & went bike riding with the boy across the street. We rode for miles & were gone for hours. My mom was ready to send the cops out looking for me :D
