I am a pretty adventurous eater, so I look for oportunities to try 'different' things. Head cheese.... Every one's at least seen it, I've known of it.... know what it's made of.... finally got a chance to try it at a baby shower, of all places.... it was BAD, just as bad , or maybe worst than you would think.The texture alone would bring a man to his knees......

I can't stand the smell of coffee -- and people say "I wish it tasted as good as it smells". Yikes! When I was pregnant, couldn't even be around coffee.
It is so bad, that if someone in Sunday School comes and sits next to me and they have a cup of coffee, I have to move!

We had gone to dinner at someone's house (when I was in England) and all they said was that it was hubby's favorite meal (he was Irish). It was wonderful, then suddenly I bit into something that wasn't. THAT's when they said it was steak and kidney pie. I DO NOT do those organ things. Luckily I never had to eat tripe.
I also hate brussel sprouts, okra, asparagus, liver (shoe leather would have tasted better, I think) and chop suey. My mother was a horrible cook (and with 8 children, you have no choice). So bad things tasted worse (sorry Mom). Oh yes, when we lived in AK, we had to eat king crab. I hated it. My brother and I sat there (and sat and sat and sat). Mom wouldn't let us leave the table until we ate it (all). I finally gagged it down, but then my mom came in and let my brother leave without having eaten his portion. Not a happy camper!
Then there was some diet drink my Mom made me drink when I was young. All these years (a few decades, actually), I shiver when I think of it. Didn't lose any weight, either btw. ewwwwwwwwww

Gosh there as so many things I don't want to try: organ meats, squid, okra, lukefish, etc.
But, the worst thing I ever tasted was black pudding. We had it in Ireland. It is blood, just blood and a little flour for thickening. It was so gross, but my mom just ate it up and then ate mine as well. She said it had been one of my nana's favorite dishes.
