What's your favorite home remedy for a cold?

When I was a kid, my mom gave me lots of pineapple-grapefruit juice. Can't find it in the store anymore though.
Chicken noodle soup is always good! There have even been studies to support this one.
There also seems to be some correlation between craving sweets and the onset of a cold. Hard to avoid indulging in that one! (for me anyway).

I'm reading this due to the fact that I have a horrible cold right now...I'm going to move the dog off the sofa and lay down to watch Dancing with the Stars...anyone that really knows me, knows that I never do this.

Hot tea with lemon and honey. Vit C, zinc. if it's a sore throat kind of cold gargle with warm salt water. Congested or sinus? Netti pot, and Musinex DM(sp).
Curl up with a warm quilt, a good book and lots of rest too!
Hope you catch it before really catches you!
