Someone here on the board had this saying on their signature line, and I really like it:

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.

I love this one from Abe Lincoln. "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt". There's another one I use with my kids. "Every time God closes a door, he opens a window".

I say "It is what it is." all the time at work. When my nearly 40 year old assistant found out she was pregnant and asked what she was going to do. I replied, "It is what it is and what is there to do." She told me she hated that saying.....even though it was so true.

I can't stand -it is what it is. Especially when said by my 2 fav mortgage brokers. Just makes me feel like they won't do something to help a situation.

I always say- put your big girl panties on and deal with it.

I used to say life sucks and then you die. but then i lost someone very close to me- he died. and life sucks without him. so I don't say that anymore.

I love all of your sayings! I'm going to use them all this week! My favorite is "Be Good." I liken it to a shortened saying of "Treat others as you would like to be treated." My mom taught me that long ago. It works for me, even though I do need a little reminder every now and then!
