    Today, mine is

"Every morning I wake up and have two choices. I can be happy or I can be sad. I choose to be Happy!"

don't know who said it, but it works for me!

Remember if you ask the question be prepared for a answer you might not like.

My oldest son likes to say "Tell the truth, it's easier to remember". By the way, he's a lawyer.

I have a really good friend who at the wise old age of 8 proclaimed loudly from his wheelchair (he has severe CP) to a bunch of griping teachers... "Suck it up and deal with it!"

I have since altered this one to: Suck it up Buttercup!

And here's what I have stencilled over my kitchen window... my motto for life:

When I was a kid we lived on a ranch and my dad was self-employed in construction. Needless to say, lots of plans would end up being changed. He would always say "New day, new deal." His other was, "In all things, maintain a sense of humor." They both came in handy when I was teaching school and raising my own family.
